Hello,
My name is Luce Thibodeau. I was born in St-Georges de Beauce. I’m 54 years old. When I was I young girl the other children called me “mutty”… some people told me that there was “2 kinds” of Thibodeau in St-Georges de Beauce: Thibodeau “mutty” and Thibodeau “cajun”!!!! I tought it was stupid… I always tought that that all the Thibodeau in the Province of Québec, had the same ancester: Pierre Thibodeau. The one thing I’m sure about is that I’m so proud to be a Thibodeau!
For myself I know for sure that my ancester is Pierre Thibodeau who was born in Marans or Martaizé in Poitou-Charente in France and I also know all my ancesters’s name. I was in Martaizé 4 years ago and it was very exciting. Right now I live in Paris because I’ve got married 4 years ago with ago a French man… and love France. I would love to hear from my “Thibodeau cousins” all over the world… and most of all I would like to found the real village where my and your ancester Pierre Thibodeau was born… Best regards from your cousins Luce Thibodeau.
November 20th, 2005, at 7:41 am #Hi Brenda, Your site is wonderful. I still am having trouble locating information on Adeline Mutty Morin (my ggrandmother). Her parents were Stanislas Thibadeau & Basillise Veilleiux (Alexander & Caroline).
March 1st, 2006, at 9:44 am #If you ever come across a birthdate or death date I would appreciate it.
You sure have done a lot of work on this and it shows. Keep up the good work!
